FC United of Manchester Youth team's latest game on the Broadhurst Park 3G was a sometimes testy challenge match against an Inter Football Academy u21's XI on Monday morning, which the away team won by six goals to two.

The visitors from Didsbury opened the scoring on 17 minutes when TRAVIS BOYLES burst through the home defence to slot past 'keeper Lenny Fieldhouse, and the same player, TRAVIS BOYLES, then made it 0-2 on 33 minutes with a well-taken thirty five yard effort.

FC United of Manchester were then reduced to ten players on 40 minutes following an off the ball incident before CONOR REVELEY added a third for the visitors on 43 mins from the penalty spot to make the half time score 0-3.

Worse was to follow when ALFIE CARMICHAEL added goal numbers four and five on 51 and 52 minutes before IBERE BARUMIRE eventually got FC United on the scoresheet from the 12 yard spot on 61 minutes after Jakub Kwasniewski had been upended on a run into the Inter Football Academy penalty area.

TOM WOODALL bundled home a second for FC United on 66 minutes after a free kick into the area had failed to be cleared, before the visitors' CONOR REVELEY concluded the morning's goalscoring on 79 minutes to make the final score 2-6.
