FC United of Manchester Youth team recorded a creditable 3-1 home friendly match win against a Bradford City FC u18s Development Squad XI on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Friday afternoon.
The visitors from West Yorkshire opened the scoring on 14 minutes when LEWIS GARDNER ghosted in unopposed to apply the finishing touch to a flighted cross from the right.
The Young Reds were back on level terms on 32 minutes when KEVIN ZOKOU got on the end of a Michael Olayinka free kick to bundle the ball past the Bradford City 'keeper.
And five minutes into the second half, they were in front. MICHAEL OLAYINKA collected the ball just inside the opponents' half before advancing on goal and placing a low shot under the visitors' goalkeeper.
And FC United substitute JAKUB KWASNIEWSKI then made sure of the result with a well struck effort from the edge of the penalty area, this within just 30 seconds of coming on as replacement for Callum Smith.
