A rare Thursday evening outing for the FC United of Manchester Academy 'A' team saw the Young Reds go down to a 2-3 home friendly match defeat against Chester FC u17s on the Broadhurst Park 3G.
A low shot from YANN DARYL TCHOKOTCHEU put the Young Reds ahead after just 7 minutes before the visitors drew level from the twelve yard spot on 11 minutes after Silas Itotayagbon had conceded an unnecessary penalty.
An audacious back heel from JERMAINE KITOKO from a Sandro Da Costa cross put the FC United youngsters back in front on 38 minutes, but another penalty, just 60 seconds after the half time interval, this time conceded by Terence Lunt, put Chester back on level terms again.
And it was the visitors who were to get the winning goal on 56 minutes with a near post finish.
