FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team’s last AoC Sport North West League Invitation (East) league fixture before the Christmas/New Year break resulted in a 0-2 away defeat against The Football College, Bury FC, Men’s 2nds at Goshen Sports Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
After a goal-less first half, the home side opened the scoring on 52 minutes with a well-placed shot from just outside the FC United penalty area and then made sure of the final result with a second goal, which was added in the penultimate minute of normal time.
FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team are next in action with a trip to Reddish when they meet Dragon Football Academy Men’s 5ths in a league fixture at The Mike Doyle Centre on Wednesday 9th January 2019, KO 1.00 pm.
