FC United of Manchester Youth recorded their second win of the National League u19 Alliance Division ’J’ league season with this 2-1 away win against Farsley Celtic Youth at Throstle Nest on Wednesday afternoon.

The Young Reds opened the scoring on just 3 minutes after Harry Kershaw had sent in a cross from the left which was controlled by Nelson Onwusiri who then set up KANE STOCKLEY who drilled the ball into the corner of the net.

On 36 minutes, it was 2-0. The home keeper misjudged a Steve Affleck corner and JAN PALINKAS was well placed to steer the ball home.

The home side pulled one back on 67 minutes when Tom Bamber failed to clear a long through ball and KWAME BOATENG was left free to roll the ball into the unguarded net, but that was to be the end of the scoring.
