FC Halifax Town Youth completed a home and away league double over FC United of Manchester Youth with this 3-1 away win at Broadhurst Park in the National League u19 Alliance ’J’ Division on Wednesday afternoon.
The visitors took the lead inside the opening 80 seconds when JAMES SUNDERLAND was left free to prod the ball home from 4 yards out.
A determined run by MAX LEWENS ended with the Young Reds equalising on 21 minutes.
But FC Halifax Town regained the lead just two minutes later when JAMES SUNDERLAND netted his second, this time from the edge of the penalty area.
Substitute ELJEL ANKU made sure of the final result with a third goal for the visitors on 54 minutes.
