FC United of Manchester Youth slumped to a 1-7 home defeat against top-of-the-table Guiseley AFC Youth in their latest National League u19 Alliance Division ’J’ League fixture on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon.

The West Yorkshire-based visitors opened the scoring after just 11 minutes when TABISH HUSSAIN ran in on goal and steered the ball past FC United of Manchester ’keeper Sulaiman Sajjad.

On 23 minutes, it was 2-0 when KEVIN OWUSU was first to react to a loose ball in the FC United six yard box, smashing it home from close range.

On 37 minutes, MASON GREGG managed to pull one back for the Young Reds, as he hooked the ball past the Guiseley AFC goalkeeper.

But any hopes of a comeback were dashed when KAYLE PRICE made it 3-1 for the visitors in first half time added on.

On 54 minutes, it was 4-1, when ALBERT IBRAHAMI rounded Sulaiman Sajjad before rolling the ball into an empty net.

On 68 minutes, the visitors made it 5-1, when KAYLE PRICE blasted home from just outside the penalty area.

Two minutes later, the visitors added a sixth, substitute LEWIS WADDINGTON lifting the ball past the home keeper.

JACK LAZENBY rounded off the scoring for Guiseley, with goal number seven on 78 minutes.

Guiseley AFC Youth stay at the top of the ’J’ Division with a 100% record in their nine league games played to date.
