HARROGATE TOWN AFC YOUTH 0 FC UNITED of MANCHESTER YOUTH 5
The FC United of Manchester Youth team recorded their fifth win of the 2017-2018 National League u19 Alliance Division ’J’ league campaign with this 5-0 away win against Harrogate Town AFC Youth at Wetherby Road on Wednesday afternoon.
MASON GREGG opened the scoring for the Young Reds with a shot from 8 yards out on the quarter hour mark.
A floated Harry Kershaw cross set up NELSON ONWUSIRI to head home goal number two from close range on 29 minutes.
On 58 minutes, MAX LEWENS was on hand to make it 3-0 after Nelson Onwusiri’s shot had only been parried by the Harrogate goalkeeper.
On 83 minutes, HARRY KERSHAW made it 4-0 with a long range effort from some distance outside the penalty area.
And substitute CAMERON BOLAND sealed off the 5-0 win on 85 minutes with a fiercely struck penalty kick after Harry Kershaw had been upended just inside the 18 yard area.
FC United of Manchester Youth team are back in action on Wednesday 13th December 2017 when top-of-the-table Guiseley AFC Youth are visitors to the Broadhurst Park 3G (KO 1.00 pm).
