Which Players Have Signed Up for the Minithon & Sponsored Walk?

Over twenty players, Margy and the coaches have signed up for the Minithon. They know that with all the demands put on the club in constructing and moving to the new stadium it’s worth a Sunday afternoon stroll to raise funds for the club.

Runners & Riders include: Margy, Adam Jones, Mike Norton, Tom Greaves, Rhodri Giggs, Astley Mulholland, Greg Daniels, James Spencer, Jerome Wright, Chris Worsley, Dave Birch, Dean Stott, Jon Worsnop, Lee Neville, Liam Brownhill, Tom Davies, Andy Pearson.

This year entrants have the option of raising funds entirely for FC United, entirely for our partner charity,ACE, or jointly for ACE and FC United together, as you and your friends and family will see when you register *link no longer active*. Join Margy and the Players on our Stroll of Honour. Prizes this year again include Best Headgear, Best Dressed Male, Female, Branch, Fastest Dog & Owner etc all given out at the Afterun Social in Chorlton Irish Club.

General Manager, Andy Walsh says: “This year we hope we can get a much broader part of our membership involved in the event. It’s fun, healthy and raises much needed funds for the club. ACE do great work, assisting people with severe disabilities to communicate, in homes and schools across the country. The club previously ensured ACE acquired their second Eye Gaze Unit, which enables people to communicate via computers using solely their eyes. Now they are seeking to help them secure another."
