We are recruiting a new women's team manager and secretary and applications are being accepted until 12 noon on Thursday 24th June.

With upwards movement secured to the National Division 1 North it’s an exciting time for our women’s team as we head towards the 21/22 season.  Unfortunately, Kamran Hussein has informed the club that he will be stepping down from the Manager’s role due to personal reasons.

Kam oversaw an undefeated league campaign in 2019/20 where we were comfortably heading for promotion until covid curtailed the season. Last season never really got going in the league but we did progress to the First Round proper of the FA Cup following victories against Norton & Stockton Ancients FC and Chorley FC. We would like to thank Kam for his two years at the club and the key role he played in bringing about the above achievements. We wish him the very best for the future.

This means we are now recruiting for a Women’s Manager to take the team on the next stage of the journey. This is an exciting opportunity within women’s football and the job description can be found here.

We are also looking to identify a Women’s Secretary. This follows Rob Fullen’s decision to stand down last year as the Secretary and although Rob continued to support the team on a matchday last year (thanks Rob!) we’re aiming to recruit someone to this post who can be integrated into the management and coaching team ahead of the new season in the fourth tier.
