Second win for lacklustre youth

In a game of few chances the young reds came away with a second win. Goals from Kane Hughes five minutes after coming on as a second half substitute and Lewis Lacy as the game ran towards injury time were the only real highlights. Abbey Hey were gifted an equaliser in the 81st minute when the bounce off the 3G pitch deceived goalkeeper and first team ballboy Josh Broadbent from a seemingly innoccuous free kick.

Despite this one slip Josh and the back four were the only players to emerge with any credit from a game in which the only first half action was a Kial Callacher clearance from off his goal line.

The lads play their first home game at the Lancaster Club on Sunday, kick off 2:30. Manager, Dave Brown urges supporters to come along and cheer the boys with the assurance that they can not and will not play that badly again.
