Sales Executive appointment

We’re delighted to announce that Grant Shenton has joined the FC United team as our Sales Executive from Monday 17th May. 

Some of you will remember Grant from his time at FC United as goalkeeper between 2009 and 2010 playing 10 times for the club and including the famous pre-season tour games to St Pauli and Bucheon 1995. “I’ve been a really small part of FC’s history but I was there at an historic time” said Grant “and as a Moston lad I’m really looking forward to coming back and helping the club to grow”.

Grant has 5 years sales experience across a range of sectors and is going to be instrumental in improving how we operate commercially, including finding partners and sponsors who believe in what FC United stands for and want to support our work in football and the community.

We have a reach and a profile which many clubs at League 1 would be proud of and we need to utilise this more effectively – establishing better partnerships with local and national companies who share our values.
