Season Ticket Holders will need to produce the relevant match voucher in their season ticket books to gain access.

TURNSTILES AND SEGREGATION

Segregation will be in place on New Year’s Day, with Altrincham supporters allocated standing at the Lightbowne Road End (capacity 650), together with 102 seats in the end block of the Main Stand, standing in the paddock area below (90) and 8 disabled places. Altrincham fans are required to enter turnstiles 9-12 at the Lightbowne Road End. Please note: alcohol will not be served in the away end.

FC United supporters are requested to enter the ground via turnstiles 1 to 6 at the St. Mary’s Road End of the ground.

Turnstile 4 will once again be designated as our DF (Development Fund) turnstile and can be used by all home supporters wishing to make a donation on top of the admission charge. ST and LMTB holders wanting to make a donation, can use this turnstile but must also hand the relevant voucher to the turnstile operator. At the Boston match a fantastic £675 was raised through this turnstile.

Turnstiles will open at approximately 1pm. Supporters arriving between 12 noon and 1pm can gain access to the ground via the main entrance in the Main Stand.

LEAGUE MATCH TICKET BOOK SALES AND COLLECTION

The Altrincham home match is the first of the ten matches as part of the FC United League Match Ticket Book (LMTB). Supporters wishing to buy a LMTB can do so online or in person prior to kick-off on New Year’s Day.

The 10 match LMTB guarantees admission to all of the following home fixtures:

Altrincham, Harrogate Town, Salford City, Chorley, Kidderminster Harriers, Tamworth, FC Halifax Town, Stalybridge Celtic, Brackley Town and Gainsborough Trinity.

LMTB are available at the following prices:

Over 60’s/Unwaged £45
Under 18’s £12

This offer represents a saving over paying on the gate. It will also help the club financially and put the club on a better footing in what has been a challenging 2016.

Supporters who purchased LMTBs before 20th December should receive them in the post prior to the Altrincham match. Fans who purchased them after 20th December can collect their ticket from the Cabin situated outside the ground at the Lightbowne Road Entrance on New Year’s Day from 1pm.

BIG COAT DAY COLLECTION

On Sunday we will be continuing to collect donations of coats, warm clothing and footwear to distribute to homeless people as part of our Annual Big Coat Day initiative which takes place on New Year’s Day.

The drop-off point for warm clothing will be at the Cabin located outside of the ground adjacent to the Lightbowne Road vehicle entrance.

BARS AND FOOD

Access to the Function Room Bar in the Main Stand is via the main reception from 12 noon until the turnstiles open at approximately 1pm by payment of the match admission price, or on production of the relevant Season Ticket voucher.

After the turnstiles open, entry to the function room will be via turnstiles 1 to 6 and then through the seated area of the main stand.

The Function Room Bar will serve hot food together with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before and after the match. Alcohol will not be sold in the function room at half time but soft drinks, teas and coffees and food will be available.

Food will also be served in the SMRE Bar and including “Broadhurst??? burger. Pies, pea’s, Mulled Wine and hot Vimto.

The bottle bar under the St Mary’s Road End terrace will be open before the match and at half time. As well as bottles, there is the usual cask ale available, brewed especially for the club by member Ian Sanderson. Please note this is strictly a No Smoking Area.

Other food outlets are situated inside and outside serving up a variety of choices:
  • Under the Main Stand Food Bar will serve hot food prepared by our chef and pies from Mettricks and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Fat Annies located between the North Stand and SMRE will serve gourmet hot dogs.
  • Herbies located outside the Main Stand/SMRE corner will serve hot food and non-alcoholic drinks. (also accessible during half time).


  • MATCH PROGRAMME

    The Match programme is priced at £2 and available to buy from sellers outside and inside the ground.

    FC UNITED’S NEW YEAR RAFFLE

    FC United’s New Year Raffle draw will be made at half-time versus Altrincham.

    New Year Raffle tickets will be available to buy at various points around the ground - the SMRE and Main Stand bars and the Membership Stall will have some ready for you to take off our hands.

    At the match on New Year’s Day we will be selling the New Year Raffle Tickets instead in place of the usual Pound for the Ground tickets.

    Single tickets are £1 each, or a book of 5 tickets are £5.

    PLEASE NOTE: for those people who have taken Raffle Draw tickets to sell to friends and family, it’s important that the ticket stubs together with the appropriate money raised are returned to the Membership stall in good time prior to kick-off at Sunday’s match, so these tickets can be entered into the half time draw.

    MERCHANDISE

    The Megastall will once again be open and located inside the ground between the Main Stand and the St. Mary’s Road End. As well as the usual hats, scarves and badges, we will also be selling the home and away replica shirts (shorts and socks) and a range of T-shirts and jackets.

    FREE WIFI

    We have free WiFi at Broadhurst Park for all supporters to use. Supplied by local company Pennine Telecom, to access the service just search for FCUM-FreeWiFi, select it and set up a user account.

    CAR PARKING

    We require people to assist as Traffic Marshals to help advise fans as to where to and not park. If you could lend a hand please contact the office on 0161 769 2005 or email office@fc-utd.uk

    Parking is very limited at the ground and supporters using the Club’s car park should be aware of lots of youngsters who may be in that area. Also, supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:
  • St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road;
  • Nuthurst Road;
  • the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.


  • For £3, there is safe parking at St Matthew’s RC High School, which is less than five minutes’ walk away from the ground.

    PUBLIC TRANSPORT

    Please note there is limited public transport services operating on New Year’s Day, however the shuttle bus from Moston/Newton Heath tram stop will be running as usual.

    BUSES

    Unfortunately there will not be any Special Match Buses running from Manchester to the ground on New Year’s Day.

    No normal buses running between Manchester and Moston either.

    METROLINK

    Metrolink will be running a Sunday tram service on New Year’s Day.
    The nearest tram stop is Newton Heath and Moston on the Victoria to Rochdale line. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk up to the ground.

    Shuttle buses will be running from the Railway Pub (next to the Metrolink stop) to the ground at regular intervals on New Year’s Day.

    TRAINS

    Trains will be running between Manchester Victoria and Moston Train Station departing at 40 minutes past the hour arriving at Moston at 47 minutes past the hour. The ground is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Moston Train Station.

    Trains return from Moston Train Station at 25 minutes past the hour.
