New Signings : FC Strengthen the squad with seven new signings including four loan players

Neil Reynolds has been busy in the transfer market over the last week, bringing in reinforcements in across the midfield and in attack to cover for the multiple injuries which have hit the club in the early part of the season, with James Vincent, Michael Donohue, Charlie Ennis, Tom Murray all starters in the midfield missing, as well as Jan Palinkas in defence, it's stretched the resources.

The terrific support for the crowdfunder has enabled Neil both to provide short term cover to get us through the immediate injury crisis and to make some longer term strengthening of the squad. Neil stated “thanks to you the supporters backing our crowdfunder I have been able to take some immediate action to strengthen the team which you’ll see tonight”.

Our #BoostTheBudget crowdfunder, which includes some fantastic rewards, is approaching the half way mark in terms of donations and supporters can contribute to by clicking here

We welcome to the squad

Mwiya Malumo - 22, Forward - joins us on dual-registration from Farsley Celtic, he made a substitute appearance against Hyde demonstrating his power and pace down the left wing

Dontai Gabidon - 21, Winger - joins us from West Didsbury and Chorlton, and pacy player who can play on either wing he's available for selection and would have been in the South Shields squad

Brayden Shaw - 25, Midfield - previously at Telford and Cardiff City, he's had experience in the NPL with Bamber Bridge and is an imposing figure in the centre of the park

Additionally Neil has drawn on his good relationships with a number of professional clubs to make four loan signings, and we would like to thank Wigan Athletic, Doncaster Rovers and Fleetwood for trusting us with their proteges:

Joe Rodwell-Grant - 19, Forward - signs on loan for a minimum of a month from Wigan Athletic, he came through at Preston making a senior appearance, and had time at Lancaster and the Brig last season

Tavonga Kuleya - 18, Winger - joins FC on loan from Doncaster Rovers, having made five appearances for their first team so far, he's not available to start against Matlock

Jack Degruchy - 19, Midfielder - also joins us on loan from Doncaster Rovers, he's also turned out for their first team, and is available for selection tonight

Will Russ - 19, Forward - makes his way down from from Fleetwood's U23's squad, after coming through at Leicester, and has made senior appearances playing as a physical centre-forward

Expect a fresh look line-up tonight as we look forward to resuming our league campaign after a week off - for full match details click here
