As we work towards the season start date of Saturday 19th September, we have just arranged an away friendly with Longridge Town, where a small number of fans can attend.
In line with the current FA and government guidance, a club can now allow the attendance of supporters up to 15% of the minimum ground grading for the club’s league.
In Longridge’s case this is 150 fans, and the game will be an all-ticket event. Of this number, FC have been allocated 20% of the tickets, that’s 30 tickets in total.
Due to the last minute nature of the fixture being agreed, we do not have the ability to sell these tickets ourselves. The tickets have to be bought directly from Longridge in person. Sales will be on Friday 21st August from 17:00 - 19:00, and Saturday 22nd August from 9:00 - 11:00, the address is:
The Mike Riding Ground
The pricing for the tickets is as follows:
Cash and card payments can be taken, all sales must be in person. To comply with the government guidance, track and trace details are required and will need to be supplied upon purchasing tickets.
Please note: anyone who does not have/has not bought an advanced ticket for these fixtures will be refused entry by Longridge, and of course please do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.
We appreciate that the small number of tickets and purchasing them in person is a challenge, but this is the first small step for Longridge in having a paying crowd, and so we hope you understand the many challenges we all face in getting back to whatever the new normal is.
