FC United of Manchester is excited to announce the launch of the 2022/2023 membership scheme. We were delighted that last year created by our co owners we developed the Our Club Our Vision which is our blueprint for the next five years.

FC United is different to the vast majority of other football clubs in England because it is owned by its members - a principle enshrined in its constitution - and now is a great time to become a member and have your say as we develop and deliver our vision.

But why is it important that you become a member? How does it really benefit you? To answer these questions the most important thing to remember is that the club is owned by all of its members, equally. By becoming a member you have one share in the club - which cannot be bought or sold.

You, the members, own FC United. The club cannot be taken over by anyone else.

One Member, One Vote

The ownership of a member's share entitles you to one vote in how the club is run - to elect the board, pass resolutions and rule changes, and have a say in the future direction of the club.

This year we are recommending a £5 donation with your membership fee to help with the cost of servicing the membership on a day to day basis.

The club relies heavily on donations through season tickets to help with the playing budget, but membership donations will help keep the club's day to day operations at the level needed to match our aspirations.

The club is fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers and who provide invaluable support to the club, enabling us to keep season ticket and membership prices as low as possible. In the spirit of the Club’s famous ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ model, we are asking those that are able to make the donation, rather than raising the membership fee across the board.
