Following a pitch inspection, the match versus Kendal Town due to be played on Wednesday 17th February has been postponed.
There was heavy overnight frost and the Gigg Lane pitch is still frozen - especially those areas that are in the shadow of the South Stand.
The club held this early inspection because the temperature was not expected to rise much more, there is a possibility of snow around tea-time and it is mindful of what happened a couple of weeks ago when there was a late afternoon snowfall.
