General Meeting and Members' Meeting dates

The time and date for the 2021 FC United General Meeting has been confirmed for 7pm on Wednesday 30th June 2021 – due to Covid-19 restrictions this meeting will be held virtually.

The social distancing rules in place during this pandemic mean that there is a significant risk we could not fit all those who want to attend the meeting in safely, so by holding the meeting virtually it will allow for more members to attend. On this basis we will be reliant on postal votes.

The election policy was amended at the November members meeting to allow for an extension to the voting deadline at the recent AGM. This gave a 14-day period after the meeting for votes to be returned by post or electronically. An update to this amendment will be required for this meeting, and will be presented to the members for approval at the members’ meeting on the 23^rd May.

This approval will allow members to approve the voting process for this and future meetings.

Key dates for the General Meeting

Deadline for submitting motions for the General Meeting: 10.00am Monday 17^th May

Deadline for taking out 2020-2021 membership to attend THIS MEETING is 30^th May 2021 (this is for season 2020-2021 so will expire on June 30^th 2021)

Notices and ballot papers will be available to members from 9^th June 2021.

The Business plan will be available to members prior to the General Meeting.

Members Meeting

The members meeting is scheduled for the Sunday 23^rd May. Timings will be confirmed later.

The Board looks forward to as many members attending both meetings.
