There were 1,050 Pound for the Ground tickets sold at the Alfreton game on Saturday 13 February and both the first prize of £200 and the second prize of £50 were won by members of our 35-strong armchair army. They are really on a roll as they won the fudge hamper a few weeks ago.
The winner was Paul from the Isle of Man, who will be over here one of his frequent visits in a few weeks’ time to collect his winnings. The second prize winner was Pound for the Ground seller Mark "Hami" Hamlet who is donating his winnings to our latest Crowdfunder initiative.
The winning ticket numbers were as follows: -
First prize of £200 – 0203 (claimed)
Second prize of £50 – 0201 (claimed)
Third prize of a fudge hamper – 0893
Fourth prize of a Breakfast for two – 0293 (claimed)
The barrel collection kicked off with a donation from FC member Jimmy, who won one of our Christmas raffle prizes, and he was so pleased with his win that he sent us £25. The total count amounted to £215 with about 10 euros and a plethora of foreign notes and coins.
As usual, a hearty thanks to all who contributed on the day.
All in all we raised £1,265 from ticket sales and the barrels at the Alfreton Town match. This brings our running total from matches for the season to £21,739 raised for the Development Fund.
