The Football Supporters’ Federation is hosting a meeting in Manchester city centre next Thursday 3rd April at 7pm and everyone is welcome to attend to hear an update from FSF Chief Executive, Kevin Miles and discuss the latest issues affecting fans of the game.
The evening, which is taking place at TV21, 10 Thomas Street, M4 1DH, will last approximately 90 minutes and will pay particular attention to progress around the FSF campaigns;
Away Fans Matter and
Twenty’s Plenty .
Supporters who would like to attend should email
info@fsf.org.uk to help the organisers with numbers expected on the night, and please also mention that you support FC United of Manchester. The event is open to fans of all clubs and non-FSF members, as well as FSF members.
Another date for the diary is Saturday 26th July when The FSF is teaming up with Supporters Direct to host a joint annual Supporters Summit at Wembley Stadium. The event will bring together fans from across the UK and Europe, from clubs and supporter organisations, to debate the issues at the heart of the game.
Last year’s Supporters Summit, held at St. George’s Park National Football Centre in Burton-upon-Trent, included debates on governance, ownership, transparency, ticket pricing, discrimination, and safe standing.
The full programme for the Supporters Summit 2014 is currently being finalised and will again include high profile figures from football, sport, media, and politics. The event will be proceeded by the AGMs of both organisations on the evening of Friday 25th July, also at Wembley.
