FC women's team put nine past Oldham Athletic

The FC United women’s team got their year off to an excellent start today with a comprehensive 9-1 home victory over Oldham Athletic Ladies. Striker Kirsty Chambers lead the rout with five goals and Beth Hayes, Feiruz Abdullahi, Shellby Wolstencroft and Amy Battel also made the scoresheet.

The win keeps FC United neck and neck with Beechfield United Ladies at the top of the Greater Manchester Women’s Football League. FC currently lie in second place just a point behind the leaders but with a game in hand.
