FC United of Manchester Admitted to League

FC United of Manchester is pleased to be able to confirm that the club has been granted a place in the Moore & Co Construction Solicitors League (North West Counties League) for the season commencing August 2005. We would like to take this chance to thank the league’s clubs and committee for presenting us with this opportunity and the overwhelmingly warm reception granted to the club at the AGM.

Pledges
All those fans who have pledged financial contributions will be contacted by email and provided with details on how to make good on those pledges. The Steering Committee asks that all fans do this as soon as possible so their membership of the club can be processed in time to register members, enabling them the chance to vote at the club’s EGM.

EGM
The club’s EGM is pencilled in for the evening of Tuesday, 5th July. At this meeting all members will have a chance to stand for, and elect, positions on the club’s committee. Full details will be confirmed in due course.

Trials Day
Although a number of playing staff will be brought in by the club’s manager (tba), due to the high volume of requests for it, the club intends to host an open trials day this coming weekend. A venue has been provisionally booked for the afternoon of Sunday 26th June. All players will be asked to register in advance at www.fc-utd.co.uk Further details will be announced once the registration form becomes available.

Cup Draw
FC United of Manchester have been drawn away to Cheadle Town in the League Challenge Cup 1st round on Saturday 15th October. Further Information FC United of Manchester will make further announcements in due course.
