Double Vision!!

What would be a perfect Saturday for all United fans? What about watching Manchester United take on Liverpool on TV with fellow reds, followed by watching live affordable football as FC United take on Frickley Athletic, where victory at Gigg Lane will help keep up our promotion push? That would be pretty close wouldn’t it?

In order to make it as easy as possible for all supporters to watch both games we have made arrangements for our first ever "DOUBLE VISION!!"??

The following venues both in and around Gigg Lane will be showing the Man United game live on TV.

Starkies - access is from inside the MRE turnstiles. Admission is to FC United members only, although members can sign in guests. All proceeds from Starkies go to FC United club funds. Please note that there will be no live band on this occasion.*

The Main Stand Inn - access is from Reception 2 in the Main Stand. Places are limited, but can be reserved in advance by contacting the FC United office on 0161 273 8950.* All proceeds go to FC United club funds.

Bury FC Social Club, on Gigg Lane just outside the ground. FC United charge a £1 entry fee to the social club, which goes directly to club funds.

When the above locations get full, the following pubs close to Gigg Lane will also be showing the match:

The Pack Horse - 201 Manchester Road

The Staff of Life - 213 Manchester Road

The Swan & Cemetery - 406 Manchester Road

The Waterloo Pub - 155 Manchester Road

Don’t stay at home watching the United game in your slippers - get yourself out early and up to one of the venues at Gigg Lane and enjoy a real atmosphere with fellow Reds. Why not ask other United fans who may be going to their local to come with you to Gigg instead for a great day out?

* Please note that there will be no transfers from CYCM to the Main Stand or from The Main Stand Inn to the MRE after entering the ground.
