FCUM v Salford City Saturday january 28th

Post by Paul Hinson » Sat 28 Jan, 2017 11:37 am

Salford City won the first and last of the previous 5 meetings, with FCUM winning the other 3, which includes
victories in FA Vase and FA Cup. The Ammies have scored in all of them.

FCUM have hosted Salford City once, in April 2007 at Gigg Lane when FCUM won 4-2 with Rhodri Giggs, later to
manage Salford, netting a hat trick.

Salford have won 6 away league games, keeping a clean sheet in all of them. Defender Stephen O'Halloran won 2
full caps for the Republic of Ireland during his time at Aston Villa.

Salford songs from their forum

"Woke up this morning feelin fine!
Got Salford City on my mind!
Jonnos got us playing the way we should.
Somethin tells me I'm into somethin good"

Oh the '92 class is magic
They all wear England caps
They came to Moor Lane Salford
And said we fancy that
We used to play in tangerine
And now we're red and white
But we're still Salford City
And we are dynamite
