A 37th minute goal by Thackley AFC’s LUKE ROBINSON was enough to secure a 1-0 win for the Toolstation Northern Counties East League outfit at Dennyfield on Saturday afternoon, in a game played in searing heat on a rock-hard pitch.
It was a deserved win for the home outfit, although substitute Tom Greaves might have snatched a late, late equaliser for the visitors only to be denied by home ’keeper Ollie Wright.
