MARINE FC u19s 0 FC UNITED of MANCHESTER YOUTH 3
FC United of Manchester Youth team's opening National League u19 Alliance Division 'H' match of the New Year saw the Young Reds register a 3-0 away win against Marine FC u19s at Marine's Rossett Park ground on Monday afternoon.
A five minute purple patch saw the FC United team race into a first-half three goal lead by the half hour mark.
The opening goal came on 25 minutes. An attacking right wing cross by Terence Lunt saw the ball land at the feet of EMANUEL FERNANDES who blasted the ball past Jake Barrow in the home goal.
Four minutes later, it was 2-0. Arlo Buller was tripped on the edge of the penalty area and TOBY HUMPHRIES sent the Marine keeper the wrong way from the 12 yard spot.
And a minute later, a long clearance from FC United net minder Josh Brooks picked out ARLO BULLER whose low shot flew past the Marine custodian.
FC United of Manchester Youth are back in action this Wednesday when they journey to West Allerton to face City of Liverpool u19s (Heron Eccles complex, KO 1.00 p.m.)
