FC United of Manchester Academy 'B' team's latest Friday Friendly Development fixture saw the Young Reds go down to a lacklustre 0-2 home defeat against a Pro Direct Academy XI on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Friday afternoon.

The visitors opened the scoring on 18 minutes. A cross came in from the right which was unluckily diverted past Lucas Wolstencroft by YURAN CALDEIRA (o.g.)

And Pro Direct's second came on 84 minutes, the visitors' number 15 closing in on goal before firing home a low shot into the corner of the net.

FC United tried their best, Joe Rigg forcing a fine save from the visitors' 'keeper in the 89th minute, but that was effectively the nearest they got.
