FC United of Manchester Academy 'A' team's latest pre-season friendly was this 2-2 home draw against a Macclesfield FC Academy (Youth Development Squad) XI on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon.

But the FC United No. 7 wasn't to be denied, and on 18 minutes, he put the home side 1-0 up. Kieran Newton provided the assist and ARLO BULLER FREW was in the right place to slot past the Macclesfield 'keeper from 10 yards out.
On 69 minutes, the visitors drew level from a CARLOS DOS SANTOS penalty and then edged in front on 80 minutes when the FC United defence failed to clear a Jaden Martinez corner allowing Macclesfield's DANNY FITZSIMMONS to finish from close range.
But in the final minute, FC United snatched a last gasp equaliser. Noel Jung sent in a hopeful long ball and AARON HUGHES' well placed back header found the back of the net.
