FC United of Manchester Academy 'A' team recorded an emphatic 7-1 home win on Friday afternoon on the Broadhurst Park 3G against Cheadle Town FC Academy in their latest Friday Friendly development fixture.

SAM OLUDOYI opened the scoring for the Young Reds on 9 minutes before a Renato Neves through ball set up GOLD BADMUS for the second goal just three minutes later.

On 16 minutes, it was Gold Badmus's turn to be the assist provider as he enabled KIERAN NEWTON to make it 3-0.

Less than a minute later, HARRY HOPE was well placed to roll the ball home into an unguarded net from 35 yards out for goal number four.

On 41 minutes, GOLD BADMUS beat the on-rushing visiting 'keeper to a loose ball to make it 5-0, before the same player, GOLD BADMUS, fired home his hat-trick goal in first half time added on.

In a slightly less noteworthy second half, Cheadle's No. 7 temporarily pulled one back on 73 minutes with a good finish from a narrow angle, before ELIOT BOATENG rounded off the afternoon's scoring,  with the seventh FC United goal, in the first minute of second half time added on.
