MATCH ABANDONED AFTER 89 MINUTES.
FC United's penultimate fixture in the season 2021-22 National League u19 Alliance 'H' division against Bradford Park Avenue u19s on the Horsfall Stadium 3G saw the match ended a minute early in dramatic fashion.
The Young Reds had got off to a bright start when IAIA BALDE converted a third minute penalty after Arlo Buller had been brought down in the home 18 yard box.
On 14 minutes, Bradford drew level when the unmarked MODOU BOJUANG shot home at the near post.
Two minutes before the half time interval, ANDY UDUEBOR restored FC United's lead when he slotted home at the third attempt.
Six minutes into the second half, the home side drew level again, a low shot from SEBASTIAN BOLTON finding its way past stand-in 'keeper Frankie Bolger in the FC United goal.
Worse was to follow when a MYLES LA BASTIDE header put Bradford in front on 59 minutes.
Another header, this time by SEBASTIAN BOLTON, made it 4-2 in favour of the home side on 65 minutes.
And a fifth goal, a low shot by LEONARDO TAVARES DOS SANTOS on 70 minutes, looked to have sealed Bradford's third league win of the season.
However, with the clock ticking down, an off-the-ball incident in the 87th minute saw two players red-carded, one from each side, and with the remaining players not having calmed down sufficiently, the match referee then considered it for the best to conclude the afternoon's proceedings a minute short of the 90 minute mark.
