FC United of Manchester Youth recorded their second National League U19 Alliance league win of the season with this 5-2 away win against Altrincham Youth at Clay Lane, Timperley on Wednesday afternoon.

On 25 minutes, Francesco Frangillo saw a point blank effort somehow cleared and Will Shawcross had a long range free-kick tipped over the bar on 33 minutes as the visitors started to come back into the game.

FC United weren’t to be denied for long and on 38 minutes CAMERON HORNER equalised with a low shot into the corner of the net.

And on the stroke of half-time, CHARLIE SYKES made it 2-1 with a low shot that arrowed into the home net.

The Young Reds didn’t take their foot off the gas in the second half, and on 57 minutes, they went 3-1 up when ELLIOT JORGE SIMOES INACIO somehow looped a close-range header from a Michael Jones free-kick into the Altrincham net.

On 67 minutes, CAMERON HORNER dispossessed Altrincham’s Luke Taylor before scoring goal number four.

Four minutes later, FRANCK KANGUE pulled one back for the home side, before ELLIOT JORGE SIMOES INACIO made sure of the final result on 85 minutes when he got to the end of a Jack Ward free-kick to make the final score 5-2.
