We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund (DF) has now raised £77,118 this Financial Year. The DF raised £4,725 in the period between 1st March and 7th March. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.
The DF was established to allocate funds to be used specifically for the build and development of our own football ground. Between 2007 and 2016, we raised £1,139,441 - a fantastic achievement that is a testament to the passion, dedication and generosity of FC United supporters. The money raised between 2007 and 2016 was used to help build and develop our new ground at Broadhurst Park.
There are still areas of the ground that need to be developed further. We have set a fundraising target for this season of £300,000 to help us specifically develop the area under the St. Mary’s Road Stand, complete the build of the two ends of the Main Stand and allow us to meet the obligations of community shares and loans from the initial build.
In the period 1st March to 7th March the money raised was:
At the Kidderminster match last Saturday we raised £639 in PFTG sales, £336 in the Barrels, £63.69 Stand a Pint, £227.40 through the DF Turnstiles and £78 on the Football Cards.
We also received £75 in cash donations and £125 Handrail donations.
The total money raised between 1st July 2016 and 7th March 2017 is:
