FC United v Stockport County - ticket arrangements announced

FC United v Stockport County - ticket arrangements announcedFC United will play Stockport County in the Vanarama National League North on Tuesday 11 August 2015 with a 7.45pm kick off. Following consultation with the Safety Advisory Group this game will be an all-ticket match with segregation in place and police will be in attendance. A reduced ground capacity of 3,500 will be in operation and Stockport’s allocation will be 500.

Although we are not expecting any issues surrounding this match, segregation needs to be maintained and measures will be put in place which include, in the first instance, restricting the sale of tickets in the home end of the ground to current FC United members only. Current FC United members who have been in membership in previous years will be able to purchase tickets as normal for this match. However, any new members with an SK postcode who have joined FC United since 30 June 2015 will be subject to additional checks by FC United officials prior to their ticket purchase being approved and dispatched.

Season ticket holders do not need to buy a ticket as Voucher Number 1 in their book will give them entry to this match. New season ticket books will be dispatched from the office from 31 July.

Ticket prices are as follows: -

Adults £9
Concessions £5
Under 18s £2

Concession means the following:
  • Over 60s

  • In receipt of income support or job seekers allowance

  • Student with a valid NUS card

Any person applying for a concession may be asked to produce identification at the turnstile. If a supporter is unwaged and does not have proof of any of the above they must contact the FC United office prior to the game.

FC United will only be selling tickets for HOME supporters for this match. Away supporters will need to purchase their ticket from Stockport County.

Tickets are available for home supporters in the following priority order: -

1. To current FC United members (joined by 24 July 2015) who are NOT season ticket holders. (from 30 July – 4 August)
2. To FC United members or season ticket holders. (from 5 August – 10 August)

For categories 1 and 2, tickets can be purchased online and members or season ticket holders will be able to buy tickets for other members or season ticket holders on entering the appropriate membership number or season ticket number and postcode for the person they are buying for. This will enable members to buy tickets for friends and family members should they wish. Members will have the option of having tickets sent by post (for an extra payment) or they can collect them from the ground.

Home tickets give unreserved ground access to either the standing or seated areas. The following options are available for ticket sales.

1. Order online from FC United’s ticketing website at https://fc-utd-tickets.co.uk
2. Order by phone on 0161 769 2005.
3. Buy in person at Broadhurst Park from 10 am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Members are encouraged to purchase their tickets online if possible as this will ease the pressure on our staff and volunteers during a busy time at our new offices at Broadhurst Park. If you need to order by phone please call 0161 769 2005. Supporters who require a disabled seat or who need a carer with them should also contact this number to purchase their ticket.
