FC United’s academy team recorded a 3-0 home win against Hopwood Hall College (Rochdale AFC) Men’s 1sts on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon in their opening game in the ECFA North West Men’s Category 2B league.

Stephen Whetham opened the scoring for the home team with a neatly taken header before Darius Palma netted to make the half-time score 2-0.

And Darius Palma added a second after the half-time interval to make the final score 3-0.
