FC United of Manchester is a community football club owned and democratically run by its
members. Its corporate structure is a Community Benefit Society and membership is open to all, with everyone an equal co-owner, holding one voting share in the club.
On a warm glorious day in Nuneaton, FC United ran out 4-1 victors in their final away game of the 2016-17 season with goals from Sam Sheridan, Jordan Fagbola, Matthew Wolfenden, and George Thomson. Click here for more info.
FC United lost 4-2 to fellow supporter owned club, 1874 Northwich at Barton Stadium with Nelson Mota and Tunde Owolabi getting the goals for the Reds.
Mota put United ahead early on but Michael Brandon hit back with a quick-fire hat-trick. The striker equalised in the 10th minute, got the second moments later and gave the hosts a 3-1 lead 10 minutes before the break.
Substitute David Short scored the fourth, putting the result beyond any doubt for Northwich, before Owolabi gained a late consolation for United.
